Welcome! The idea behind this blog is for Imperial's students of Science Media Production to share their thoughts on science communication, their favorite finds in science media, and their own projects and experiments.
I figured I'd start off the blog with the only piece of science media I've ever created: a short film about risk-- the concept, not the board game (though I did try unsuccessfully to get permission from Hasbro to include the game). The goal was to get the audience thinking about the ways in which we perceive risk. We look at everything from the risk of smoking to the risk of artificial intelligence taking over the earth... and quite a few things in between.
